Contract Details

Bharat Forge Limited signed a ₹425 crore contract with the Ministry of Defence, India, for the supply of Gas Turbine Generators (GTGs) to the Indian Navy. The GTGs are intended for onboard power generation on Kolkata class ships.

Technical Specifications

The Gas Turbine Generators are rated at 1.25 MW capacity and will replace lower capacity units currently in service onboard the naval vessels.

The contract will be executed over a period of 5 years.
