Inauguration of New 3S Facility in Gorakhpur

On September 30, 2026, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), the maker of BharatBenz trucks and buses, jointly inaugurated a new 3S (Sales, Service & Spares) facility with PPS Trucking at Kasarol Village, Sahjanwa (GIDA), Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. The centre is strategically positioned on NH 27, a corridor linking Lucknow, Ayodhya and Gorakhpur, and provides convenient access for fleets operating across Eastern and Central Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, the Northeast and the Nepal region.

The 75,000 sq ft workshop houses 11 fully equipped bays – nine service bays and two accident‑repair bays – and is designed to handle an annual servicing capacity of up to 4,100 vehicles. It is equipped with advanced diagnostic systems, modern tools and a comprehensive inventory of genuine BharatBenz spare parts. The facility operates 24 × 7 roadside assistance supported by a fleet of mobile service vans, and includes a washing bay, wheel‑alignment facility, and dedicated rest areas for drivers and fleet operators. 48 trained and certified technicians are employed to ensure high‑quality service and maximise vehicle uptime.

Strategic significance: Gorakhpur sits on a key logistics corridor that sees sustained commercial‑vehicle movement driven by agricultural produce, construction, infrastructure development and industrial activity. The surrounding Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA) region adds further commercial‑vehicle demand through raw‑material and finished‑goods transport.
