Bharti Airtel Limited has provided an update regarding the conversion of partly paid-up equity shares to fully paid-up status following the receipt of First and Final Call payments.
The company completed the necessary corporate actions for credit of 460,340 fully paid-up equity shares to the demat accounts of eligible shareholders. These shares have a face value of INR 5 each and were converted from partly paid-up shares that previously had a paid-up value of INR 1.25 per share.
The company has received listing and trading approvals from both National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited. The 460,340 fully paid-up equity shares will be available for trading on the stock exchanges effective Wednesday, August 19, 2026, under the existing fully paid-up ISIN INE397D01024.
The conversion process could not be completed for 493 partly paid-up equity shares due to technical errors at the Depositories' end affecting the demat accounts of concerned shareholders. The company will take appropriate steps to convert these remaining shares to fully paid-up status in due course, upon request from the affected shareholders.
This update follows the company's earlier announcement dated July 24, 2026, regarding approval by the Special Committee of Directors for the conversion, which was pursuant to a Reminder Notice dated July 1, 2026.
