Bharti Airtel Limited announced the conversion of partly paid-up equity shares to fully paid-up status following receipt of First and Final Call payments.
The Company received an aggregate amount of ₹190.32 million towards valid applications of First and Final Call on 460,833 partly paid-up equity shares from eligible shareholders. The First and Final Call amount was ₹401.25 per share, comprising ₹3.75 towards face value and ₹397.50 towards premium.
The Special Committee of Directors for Rights Issue, a duly authorized Committee of the Board of Directors, approved on July 24, 2026 the conversion of 460,833 partly paid-up equity shares of face value of ₹5 each (paid-up value of ₹1.25 each) bearing ISIN IN9397D01014 into fully paid-up equity shares of face value of ₹5 each under existing ISIN INE397D01024.
The converted shares will rank pari passu in all respects with existing fully paid-up equity shares and will be available for trading on National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited under ISIN INE397D01024, subject to completion of necessary formalities including corporate actions and receipt of requisite listing and trading approvals from stock exchanges.
Consequent to this conversion, the paid-up equity share capital of the Company stands increased to ₹31,203,334,699 divided into:
- 6,240,504,481 fully paid-up equity shares of ₹5 each
- 649,835 partly paid-up equity shares of ₹5 each (paid-up value ₹1.25 each)
Regarding the balance 649,835 partly paid-up equity shares on which First and Final Call remains unpaid, the Company will issue reminder notice(s) in due course in accordance with applicable laws, terms and conditions of earlier notice(s), and subject to necessary approvals of the Board/Committee thereof.
