Bharti Airtel Limited submitted a press release to the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited dated June 10, 2026.

The press release announces the deployment of more than 2,900 new 5G sites across the Upper North region of India over the past 12 months. This network expansion aims to deliver faster speeds, wider coverage, and a superior network experience for customers.

The rollout spans 77 districts and now provides reliable high-speed connectivity to over 28.6 million customers across urban and rural areas. The company activated more than eight new sites daily during this expansion.

The regional breakdown of new sites is as follows:

  • Punjab: 1,066+ sites
  • Haryana: 954+ sites
  • Himachal Pradesh: 276+ sites
  • Jammu & Kashmir: 619+ sites

The enhanced network enables high-speed 5G access for citizens, students, micro entrepreneurs, enterprises, and government institutions in both urban and rural markets.
