Strategic Academic Partnership

Bhavan's College MSEED (Management School of Events & Experience Design), affiliated with Bhavan's College and the University of Mumbai, has entered into an official agreement with Reliance Animation Studios Private Limited through its education brand Reliance Animation Academy (RAA). The agreement, signed on 26 August 2026 in Mumbai in the presence of MSEED Director Jimmy Choudhary, MSEED Vice‑President Joshua Newman, Reliance Animation Studios CEO Tejonidhi Bhandare and Reliance Animation Academy Business Head Sandeep Shetty, will launch a suite of media‑focused academic programmes at the Bhavan's MSEED campus.

The academic portfolio will be offered under the name “Bhavan's MSEED – Animation, VFX & Filmmaking – Powered by Reliance Animation Academy” and comprises:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Graphics & Animation (proposed three‑year undergraduate degree).
  • A Diploma in Graphics, Animation & VFX lasting 24 months.
  • A Certificate programme in Graphics, Animation & VFX lasting 12 months.
  • A Certificate programme in Graphics & Editing lasting 6 months.

Reliance Animation Academy will supply the curriculum, academic content, qualified faculty and training expertise, while MSEED will handle institutional coordination, academic approvals, admissions, and programme delivery in association with Bhavan's College.

A dedicated learning infrastructure will be created at the MSEED campus, equipped with industry‑standard creative software and equipment for animation, visual effects, graphic design and filmmaking. From October 2026, the partners will conduct joint outreach initiatives, including workshops and visits to coaching classes and other educational institutions, to introduce prospective students to career opportunities in the media and entertainment sector.

Jimmy Choudhary said the partnership brings a specialised graphics and animation education ecosystem to Bhavan's MSEED, combining academic fundamentals with technical skills and industry exposure. Tejonidhi Bhandare emphasized that animation, VFX, graphics and filmmaking are reshaping storytelling and that the collaboration will give students access to relevant content, specialised infrastructure and industry‑oriented training for the global media ecosystem.

The agreement establishes a long‑term academic association aimed at bridging higher education with professional requirements of the media and entertainment industry.
