Strategic Academic Partnership

Bhavan's College MSEED (Management School of Events & Experience Design) has entered into an official agreement with Reliance Animation Studios Private Limited, operating through its education brand Reliance Animation Academy (RAA), to launch a suite of academic programmes in Animation, Visual Effects (VFX), Gaming and Filmmaking at the Bhavan's MSEED campus in Mumbai.

The agreement was formalised in the presence of Jimmy Choudhary, Director of MSEED Private Limited; Joshua Newman, Vice‑President – Marketing & Partnerships, MSEED; Tejonidhi Bhandare, Chief Executive Officer of Reliance Animation Studios Private Limited; and Sandeep Shetty, Business Head of Reliance Animation Academy.

Academic Portfolio

Under the partnership, the programmes will be marketed as "Bhavan's MSEED – Animation, VFX & Filmmaking – Powered by Reliance Animation Academy" and will comprise:

  • B.Sc. in Graphics & Animation (Proposed) – a three‑year undergraduate degree;
  • Diploma in Graphics, Animation & VFX – a 24‑month programme;
  • Certificate Programme in Graphics, Animation & VFX – a 12‑month programme;
  • Certificate Programme in Graphics & Editing – a six‑month programme.

These offerings combine structured academic learning with extensive practical training across animation, graphics, visual effects, filmmaking and related emerging creative disciplines.

Roles and Contributions

Reliance Animation Academy will contribute its curriculum, academic content, qualified faculty and training expertise. Bhavan's MSEED will oversee institutional coordination, secure academic approvals, manage admissions, design academic frameworks and deliver the programmes in association with Bhavan's College and the University of Mumbai.

Infrastructure and Industry Exposure

A specialised learning infrastructure will be created at the MSEED campus, equipped with industry‑standard creative software and hardware for animation, VFX, graphic design and filmmaking education. From October 2026 onward, the partners will conduct joint outreach initiatives—including workshops and visits to coaching classes and other educational institutions—to introduce prospective students to career opportunities in the media and entertainment sector.
