Binance Announces Agent OS Platform

On August 27, 2026, from Mumbai, India, Binance unveiled Agent OS, a new developer platform that provides a standardized access layer for AI applications to interact with Binance’s trading, market‑data, wallet, payment and on‑chain capabilities across both crypto and traditional markets. Agent OS is part of Binance Intelligence, Binance’s strategic initiative for AI‑powered products and experiences.

The platform aggregates several Binance services—including Binance APIs, the Binance Wallet Agentic Hub, Binance x402 programmable payments, Binance Skill Hub, and the newly introduced Model Context Protocol (MCP) – an open standard that enables compatible AI applications to connect to external tools. By integrating MCP, developers gain a uniform method to link their AI agents to Binance without building separate integrations for each product.

Supported AI Tools and Capabilities

Agent OS supports ready‑made integrations with popular AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. Through these tools, users can authorize agents to:

  • Access real‑time market data;
  • View read‑only account information, including balances, portfolio details and transaction history of a designated sub‑account as well as the main account;
  • Execute supported trading activities within limits set by the user.

Agents are prohibited from accessing non‑trading personal data such as email addresses or KYC information. Binance retains monitoring controls over any trading activity initiated via the platform and can enforce applicable safeguards.

Sub‑account Management and Permissions

Each AI agent can be linked to a dedicated sub‑account, allowing clear segregation of funds and trading activity. Users configure granular permissions for each agent, can adjust limits, and may revoke access at any time through the MCP server.
