Bisleri International Pvt. Ltd., India's leading packaged drinking water company, announced that it will remain the Official Hydration Partner of the Ladakh Marathon for a third consecutive year, continuing its association with the High Altitude Sports Foundation Ladakh (HAFL). The partnership encompasses six race formats – the Silk Route Ultra (122 km), Khardung La Challenge (72 km), Full Marathon (42 km), Half Marathon (21 km), an 11.2 km run, and a 5 km Run for Fun – with Bisleri providing on‑ground hydration support at each event. Under the agreement Bisleri receives category exclusivity and nomenclature rights, enabling it to place hydration stations, integrate its products at runner support areas, and promote sustainability initiatives throughout the marathon.
The collaboration also extends to digital and social media content, including race‑day highlights, runner‑focused hydration and endurance stories, and behind‑the‑scenes coverage of high‑altitude running in Ladakh. Commenting on the partnership, Mr. Tushar Malhotra, Senior Director of Sales and Marketing at Bisleri International, said that the Ladakh Marathon is a true test of endurance and performance, making hydration essential for every runner, and that the association allows Bisleri to champion hydration while connecting with athletes and fitness enthusiasts. Mr. Motup Chewang, Chairperson of HAFL, noted that Bisleri’s three‑year commitment strengthens support for runners across all categories and advances sustainable, responsible event management.
Bisleri highlighted its broader corporate credentials, noting a legacy of over 50 years and a portfolio that includes the country’s largest‑selling packaged drinking water, Vedica Himalayan Spring Water, and carbonated drinks such as Bisleri Limonata, Bisleri Pop, and Bisleri Soda. The company operates 130 operational plants and maintains a distribution network of more than 6,000 distributors and 7,500 trucks serving India and the UAE. It also runs a direct‑to‑consumer platform, Bisleri@Doorstep, to ensure uninterrupted supply to customers. Bisleri’s sustainability agenda, branded as Sustainability 2.0 and the Bisleri Greener Promise, focuses on recycling, water conservation and broader environmental initiatives.
Overall, the renewed partnership reinforces Bisleri’s growing footprint in Indian sport, aligns with its commitment to endurance, performance and responsible sustainability, and leverages its extensive distribution capabilities to support the marathon’s logistical and branding needs.
