Campaign Overview
Bisleri International Pvt. Ltd partnered with the Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES) to launch the ‘Swachh Sagar, Surakshit Sagar’ coastal clean‑up campaign. The week‑long initiative ran from 12th to 19th September 2026, concluding on International Coastal Cleanup Day and aligning with the global theme \"Clean Seas for Resilient Communities\". The drive covered 35 beaches across nine states and two Union Territories, mobilising 8,235 volunteers.
Plastic Collection and Recycling
During the campaign, volunteers collected 21,418 kg of used plastic, which was channelled for recycling to promote a circular economy and protect marine ecosystems.
