Bisleri International, in partnership with Meerut Cantonment, PACT and H2OMovement, organized a two‑day sustainability outreach programme in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, commencing on 30 September 2026 and concluding on 1 October 2026.

Participants and Inauguration

The inauguration was attended by Major General Sumit Rana (Meerut Cantonment), Mr K Ganesh, Director – Sustainability and Corporate Affairs, Bisleri International, and Dr Sanjaanaa Jon, Founder of PACT and H2OMovement. Their remarks highlighted collective action for circular economy, water conservation and responsible waste management.

Key Activities

  • Unveiling of recycled‑plastic benches and post‑consumer plastic collection bins to demonstrate circular‑economy products.
  • Interactive sessions with school students covering water management, source segregation, four‑bin segregation and recycling practices.
  • Demonstrations for army personnel and their families on household‑level waste segregation, including door‑to‑door awareness and street‑theatre.
  • A community clean‑up drive followed by placement of the collection bins and benches at the cantonment area.
