Overview
BluPine Energy, a renewable‑energy platform in India founded by global investor Actis, announced on July 30, 2026 from Gurugram that it has signed three long‑term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with KEI Industries Limited, Craftsman Automation Limited, and Sunbeam Lightweighting Solutions Private Limited for projects located in Rajasthan.
Project Details
Construction activities for all three projects have already begun, with commissioning scheduled in accordance with the individual project timelines. Collectively, these agreements form part of BluPine’s strategy to build a 150 MW Commercial & Industrial (C&I) renewable‑energy capacity in Rajasthan.
Pipeline Expansion
BluPine disclosed that it is in advanced stages of finalising additional PPAs covering roughly 60 MW to 70 MW of C&I capacity in the same state. These forthcoming contracts are expected to be announced in the coming months, further bolstering the company’s target 150 MW C&I portfolio.
Existing Presence in Rajasthan
The company already operates a substantial renewable‑energy footprint in Rajasthan, comprising nearly 1 GW of solar generation assets and 300 MWh of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This existing base underscores Rajasthan’s strategic importance to BluPine’s growth plans.
Benefits to Partner Companies
The PPAs will enable the partner firms to meet a significant portion of their electricity demand through renewable sources, thereby reducing carbon emissions, providing long‑term energy‑cost stability, and enhancing overall energy security.
Market Context
Rajasthan’s strong renewable‑resource potential and supportive policy ecosystem continue to make the state an attractive destination for industrial consumers transitioning to clean energy.
Executive Comment
Rahul Mishra, President – Commercial & Industrial at BluPine Energy, said the agreements represent an important milestone in the company’s C&I growth journey in Rajasthan, highlighting strong industry demand for reliable, cost‑effective, and sustainable energy solutions that support decarbonisation ambitions.
Sector Coverage
BluPine’s expanding C&I business serves a wide range of sectors, including manufacturing, automotive, engineering, electrical equipment, consumer goods, and other energy‑intensive industries. The company offers captive, group‑captive, and open‑access renewable‑energy models to help customers achieve sustainability goals, improve operational efficiency, and build long‑term energy resilience.
Strategic Outlook
The firm reaffirmed its commitment to delivering scalable, reliable, and commercially attractive clean‑energy solutions that contribute to India’s broader energy transition and net‑zero objectives.
