Bob Iger, former Disney CEO, has accepted an advisory position at venture firm Thrive Capital after leaving Disney.
Iger will advise Thrive’s staff on investments and collaborate with founders of its portfolio companies, including Instagram and OpenAI.
Thrive Capital, founded by Joshua Kushner, recently raised $10 billion for new funds, backing firms such as Spotify and A24.
The move follows Iger’s departure from Disney after nearly two decades at the helm, reported by the Wall Street Journal.
