Press Release – 21 July 2026

Borosil Ltd., India’s leading consumer‑ware brand and sole manufacturer of borosilicate glass, announced the launch of its first exclusive Borosil Brand Stores in Pune and Gurugram, marking a strategic expansion of its retail footprint.

The Pune outlet is located on Phoenix Avenue of Stars, while the Gurugram store occupies approximately 800–1,200 square feet at Elan Miracle, Sector 84. The Gurugram outlet, described as the larger of the two flagship stores, was inaugurated by celebrity chef Harpal Singh Sokhi in the presence of Borosil’s leadership team.

During the launch, Ms. Barnali Shankar, Vice‑President‑Marketing of Borosil Ltd., emphasized that the exclusive stores are designed to showcase the brand’s complete ecosystem of kitchen, dining, home and lifestyle solutions under one roof, enabling consumers to see, touch and compare products before purchase. She noted that Pune and Gurugram were chosen for their rapidly growing base of young professionals, first‑time homeowners and modern families, reflecting evolving urban aspirations.

Borosil’s retail strategy focuses on high‑footfall malls and premium retail destinations that attract affluent, experience‑driven shoppers. The company plans to open additional company‑owned exclusive stores across key Indian markets and, based on learnings from this initial phase, will accelerate expansion through a franchise‑led model, with a long‑term vision of franchise‑operated exclusive stores nationwide. Immediate pipeline locations include Mumbai and Bengaluru, subject to suitable commercial opportunities.

The announcement reinforces Borosil’s omnichannel approach, complementing its strong presence in general trade, modern retail, e‑commerce and quick‑commerce channels. By creating dedicated brand destinations, Borosil aims to deepen consumer engagement and highlight the innovation and quality that have defined the brand for over six decades.

Company background: Borosil, with a legacy of more than sixty years, offers a broad portfolio that includes kitchenware, tableware, cookware, compact appliances, ISI‑certified pressure cookers, insulated lunch boxes, BPA‑free glass containers, Borosilicate Colours range and OG 2X Tuff Glassware.
