Announcement
Bosch Power Tools announced the expansion of its professional metalworking portfolio with two new products: the GBM 38 Professional Magnetic Core Drill and the GRS 18V-330 Professional Right‑Angle Impact Wrench. The launch targets fabricators, maintenance teams and automotive technicians, emphasizing power, precision and ergonomics to improve productivity in demanding environments.
GBM 38 Professional Magnetic Core Drill
The GBM 38 is a magnetic core drill that weighs 10.5 kg, making it roughly 40 % lighter than conventional drills. This reduced weight is intended to lower operator fatigue during overhead and high‑elevation work. The drill incorporates thermal overload protection and a dedicated current fuse for reliable operation. It is supplied with a complete accessory kit that enables immediate on‑site use.
GRS 18V‑330 Professional Right‑Angle Impact Wrench
The GRS 18V‑330 is a cordless right‑angle impact wrench designed for extremely tight spaces. Its compact head measures only 78 mm × 56 mm, allowing access to engine bays, pipe flanges and structural frameworks. Powered by a brushless motor, the tool delivers 330 Nm of fastening torque and 560 Nm of breakaway torque, comfortably handling bolts up to M18.
Executive Comment
Sanmay Dasgupta, Regional President of Bosch Power Tools India, stated that the GBM 38 and GRS 18V‑330 embody Bosch’s commitment to power, precision and operator comfort, reducing fatigue and enhancing productivity without compromising safety.
