BPCL has successfully commissioned its Second-Generation (2G) Bioethanol Refinery at Bargarh, producing 100 KL/day of fuel-grade bioethanol.
The facility uses advanced lignocellulosic technology to convert rice straw into bioethanol, operating as a Zero Liquid Discharge plant.
The project supports India's E20 Ethanol Blending Programme and National Biofuels Policy, delivered with ~20 million LTA-free manhours.
