BPCL-Sembcorp JV Wins 10KTPA Green Hydrogen Contract

BPCL's 50:50 JV with Sembcorp, NeuEN Green Energy, secured a 10,000 TPA green hydrogen supply contract from Numaligarh Refinery Ltd. (NRL), Assam.
The project achieved the most competitive green hydrogen tariff discovered in India to date, setting a new global benchmark for commercially contracted pricing.
The 10KTPA green hydrogen production facility at NRL's Assam refinery is expected to commence commercial operations in 2028 under a long-term offtake arrangement.
