BSE Limited announced a significant change in its market data licensing structure effective January 1, 2027. The exchange will directly manage the licensing of its market data products for international clients, transitioning this responsibility from Deutsche Börse AG.
Transition Details
- Current arrangement: Deutsche Börse AG has been handling sales and marketing of all BSE market data products to customers outside India under a market data service agreement established in October 2013
- New arrangement: BSE will directly license market data products to international clients from January 1, 2027
- Service continuity: International clients will continue receiving BSE Market Data Products without interruption
- Domestic clients: No changes for clients based in India, who will continue accessing market data products directly from BSE
Implementation Timeline
- Effective date: January 1, 2027
- Transition period: BSE and Deutsche Börse AG are working together to ensure a smooth migration process
- Action required: International clients must contact datafeed.sales@bseindia.com to continue receiving BSE India Information Products after December 31, 2026
