  • Documentation requirements have been relaxed; claimants may submit a death certificate issued by municipal authorities, a list of deceased persons published by State or Central Government, or any other acceptable proof of death.
  • Additional required documents include the claimant’s statement or claim form, photo identity proof together with proof of relationship to the Life Assured where applicable, and bank account details (cancelled cheque, bank statement or NEFT mandate).
