Launch Overview
CareBridge Education Solutions Pvt Ltd announced the launch of India’s first global healthcare pathway programme, hosted within the undergraduate offerings of St. Mary's Rehabilitation University Hyderabad – the nation’s only rehabilitation university, approved by the Government of Telangana under Gazette Notification No. 2 dated 25.07.2025. The pathway is designed to meet international demand for allied‑health professionals by embedding global standards, certifications, language training, licensing exam preparation and paid clinical placements directly into degree programmes.
Target Audience and Rationale
The initiative specifically addresses BiPC students who did not secure a NEET seat, highlighting that while many such graduates lack a medical seat, there is substantial global demand for physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, audiologists, radiology technologists and medical laboratory scientists. The programme aims to close the information and training gap that has prevented these students from pursuing viable international healthcare careers.
Programme Structure and Degrees
The pathway covers eight undergraduate programmes, each delivered by St. Mary's and augmented by CareBridge:
- BPT – Bachelor of Physiotherapy: 5 years (4 academic years + 1 year rotatory internship)
- BOT – Bachelor of Occupational Therapy: 5 years (4 academic years + 1 year rotatory internship)
- B.Sc Nursing: 4 years
- Special Education (ISITEP): 4 years
- BAOTT – Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology: 4 years
- BMLS – Medical Laboratory Sciences: 4 years
- BMRIT – Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology: 4 years
All curricula are competency‑based, taught in advanced simulation and skills laboratories, and strictly follow the NCAHP, INC and RCI standards applicable to each course.
Pathway Enhancements
Within each degree, CareBridge adds:
- Curriculum enrichment benchmarked to international practice.
- Industry and international certifications earned alongside the degree.
- Language preparation covering OET, IELTS and German (B1/B2).
- Licensing exam preparation for the student’s chosen destination from the first year.
- Paid clinical placement integrated into the programme.
- Ongoing placement support for every eligible student, whether in India or abroad.
Founders and Leadership
The programme is founded by Srikanth Devineni, a global staffing leader and entrepreneur based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Krishna Bhargav, founder of the healthcare staffing platform SuperHR. They identified the dual challenge of employer shortages and insufficient graduate preparation, prompting the creation of CareBridge to build a globally competitive healthcare workforce.
Academic Endorsement
Dr. Vijetha, Academic Head of CareBridge, emphasized that parents’ primary concern—employment—can be addressed only if training meets the standards of foreign regulators. She affirmed that the pathway ensures professional registration, licensing examinations, employer sponsorship and recognised visas are lawful routes for graduates.
Admissions
Admissions for the November 2026 intake are now open. Prospective students can inquire via a 24/7 helpline (040 4530 7444) or the website www.carebridge.education.
