CareBridge Education Solutions Pvt Ltd announced the launch of India’s first global healthcare pathway programme, hosted within the undergraduate degrees of St. Mary's Rehabilitation University Hyderabad, the country’s only rehabilitation university, which is approved by the Government of Telangana under Gazette Notification No. 2 dated 25.07.2025.

Programme Structure and Content

The pathway is built around eight distinct programmes: Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) and Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT), each spanning five years (four academic years plus a one‑year rotatory internship); B.Sc Nursing, Special Education (ISITEP), BA in Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology (BAOTT), BMLS (Medical Laboratory Sciences), and BMRIT (Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology), each with a four‑year duration. All curricula strictly follow the competency‑based NCAHP, INC and RCI standards applicable to each course and are delivered through advanced simulation and skills laboratories where assessment is based on demonstrated competence.

International Standards and Added Value

Within every programme, the pathway adds curriculum enrichment benchmarked to international practice, industry‑recognised certifications earned alongside the degree, and language preparation that includes OET, IELTS and German (B1/B2) proficiency. From the first year, students receive licensing‑exam preparation for the destination country of their choice, paid clinical placements integrated into the programme, and continuous placement support for every eligible student, whether the placement is in India or abroad.

Target Audience

The initiative specifically addresses BiPC students who did not secure a NEET seat, offering them a viable alternative career in globally scarce healthcare professions such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing, radiology, audiology and medical laboratory science. The programme emphasizes that these professions are listed on skilled‑worker shortlists in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Germany, Singapore and Gulf countries, and that the training meets the standards required by foreign regulators.

Founders and Vision

The programme was founded by Srikanth Devineni, a global staffing leader based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Krishna Bhargav, founder of the healthcare staffing platform SuperHR. They identified a dual challenge: employers worldwide struggling to find qualified professionals and Indian graduates lacking preparation to compete internationally. Their belief is that global healthcare shortages cannot be solved solely by recruitment; the workforce itself must be built.

Academic Endorsement

Dr. Vijetha, Academic Head of CareBridge, stated that parents’ primary concern is job placement and that the programme ensures training meets the standards of foreign regulators, thereby guaranteeing lawful professional registration, licensing examinations, employer sponsorship and recognised visas.
