Casio India Hosts 145‑Guest G‑SHOCK Fan Meet

On September 2, 2026, Casio Computer Co. Ltd., the Japanese parent of Casio India, organized the G‑SHOCK Fan Meet – Collector’s Edition at the G‑SHOCK Exclusive Store on Linking Road, Santacruz West, Mumbai. The gathering brought together more than 145 participants, comprising G‑SHOCK collectors, enthusiasts, horologists, media representatives and creators.

The evening’s programme included a special showcase by four G‑SHOCK collectors, who displayed selections from their personal collections and narrated the stories and significance of each piece. A key highlight was the presence of Junichi Izumi, the creator of the GA‑2100 series, who engaged directly with attendees, offering insights into the design journey of the GA‑2100, described as a new expression of the G‑SHOCK identity while retaining the brand’s strength and character. Izumi remarked that the series has resonated globally and that meeting the Indian community was a “very special experience.”

Takuto Kimura, Managing Director of Casio India, commented that G‑SHOCK has evolved into a global community united by individuality, creativity and innovation, and emphasized that India plays an important role in this journey, with local collectors embracing the brand. He noted that the Fan Meet serves to celebrate this passion and foster meaningful interactions.

Following the main event, an after‑party at Gigi Bombay in Bandra West provided a relaxed setting for music and informal conversations, extending networking among guests.
