Contract Details
The disclosure concerns work orders previously awarded to Ceinsys Tech Limited by the State Water and Sanitation Mission (SWSM), Water Supply and Sanitation Department (WSSD), Government of Maharashtra.
The original contracts, awarded on October 22, 2023 and October 9, 2024, were for the "Appointment of System Integrators (SI's) for IoT Deployment including Design, Implementation & Maintenance with Centralized IoT Platform for Jal Jeevan Mission Projects in State of Maharashtra" with values of ₹248.39 Crores and ₹331.61 Crores respectively.
Amendment Details
SWSM informed the company via letter dated August 21, 2026 that the allocation for 617 ZP schemes has been cancelled. The reason cited is that the sanctioned amount for implementation of IoT has been exhausted under the allocated schemes in MJP MVS Schemes of SWSM.
Financial Impact
The overall reduction in the value of pending orders to be executed is ₹112.42 Crores. The company specifically states there is "no impact on the revenue already booked." Even after this reduction, the company's pending order book remains at ₹865 Crores, which the company describes as "healthy."
