The university conducted its 8th CU Online Annual Convocation, awarding 363 degrees (330 postgraduate, 33 undergraduate) to students from 19 Indian states and UTs, with a gender split of 214 males and 149 females.
Postgraduate awards comprised 210 MBA, 78 MCA, 23 MSc Data Science, 9 MSc Mathematics, 5 MA English, 3 MA Journalism & Mass Communication, and 2 MA Economics; undergraduate awards included 19 BBA, 12 BCA, and 2 BA Journalism & Mass Communication.
Sanjeev Parkar, Senior Director, PwC India, served as chief guest and the university signed an MoU with PwC to launch an online MBA program, marking the first such collaboration in India.
University officials Prof. (Dr.) Raviraja N. Seetharam (Vice‑Chancellor), Prof. (Dr.) S.S. Sehgal (Pro Vice‑Chancellor & Registrar) and Prof. (Dr.) Gurpreet Singh (Director, CDOE) attended the ceremony.
The graduating cohort featured diverse learners, including a 63‑year‑old MSc Data Science retiree, homemakers, young professionals, entrepreneurs, educators and executives, underscoring the inclusivity of online education.
