Chandigarh University inaugurated the Institution of Engineers India (IEI) Student Chapter to bridge academia-industry gap and foster research.
The chapter will provide students access to grants, scholarships (85 scholarships worth Rs 7.15 lakh), workshops, and a network of over 300,000 IEI professionals.
CU highlighted its academic standing, noting QS rankings for 5 disciplines in 2025, 11 in 2026, and placement among top 1% globally.
Dignitaries including Dr Labh Singh and university officials attended the inauguration.
