Graduation Ceremony Overview
On June 24, 2026, Chennais Amirta International Institute of Hotel Management held its graduation ceremony in Chennai, conferring degrees on more than 800 students. The event celebrated the institute’s role as a leading hospitality education provider in South India.
Academic Collaboration and Programs
All degrees were awarded under the academic collaboration with Alagappa University. The programmes included B.Sc. Catering and Hotel Administration, a Diploma in Hotel Administration, a Lateral Entry B.Sc. programme, and an MBA in Hotel Management.
Chief Guest and Key Remarks
Hony. Con. Prof. G. Ravi, Vice‑Chancellor of Alagappa University, served as the chief guest and emphasized the importance of continuous learning, innovation, ethical leadership, and skill development in the evolving global economy. He urged graduates to adopt lifelong learning and remain adaptable to changing industry demands.
Institutional Leadership Statements
Chairman R. Boomee Naathan, representing the Chennais Amirta Educational Group, stated that the graduation marks the beginning of a professional journey. He highlighted that the group has facilitated 31,651 national and international placements, enabling alumni to secure roles with leading organisations across India, the Middle East, Europe, Southeast Asia, the Maldives, Mauritius, and other countries.
New International MoU
Naathan announced a recently signed Memorandum of Understanding with the Malaysian Association of Hotels, which expands global career opportunities by providing graduates access to employment across 1,100 member hotels in Malaysia.

The institute operates campuses in Chennai, Chengalpattu, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Kochi, and Delhi, offering career‑focused education not only in Hotel Management but also in Aviation and Airport Management, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, and Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
