CheQ Launches CheQ UPI with 2.5% Rewards

On August 25, 2026, CheQ, described as India’s leading credit‑card management platform and headquartered in Bengaluru, issued a press release announcing the launch of CheQ UPI. The new service expands CheQ’s offering from credit‑card management into everyday digital payments by allowing users to make UPI transactions through linked bank accounts and RuPay credit cards simply by scanning any UPI QR code across India’s merchant network.

CheQ UPI is positioned as the first platform to provide rewards on UPI payments made with RuPay‑linked credit cards. For holders of the CheQ AU RuPay Credit Card, the reward structure includes 2.5% cash‑back on all UPI transactions, 12% cash‑back on purchases made on CheQ Travel, Amazon, Flipkart, Zomato and BigBasket, and 5% cash‑back across more than 10,000 other merchants covering travel, dining, online shopping and grocery categories. All earned rewards can be redeemed within the CheQ app for travel bookings, gift‑cards or bill‑payment settlements.

For all other RuPay credit‑card users, CheQ UPI offers 1.5% cash‑back on top of existing bank‑issued rewards, with redemption possible directly against utility bills and credit‑card statements through the CheQ platform.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer Aditya Soni stated, “CheQ started with a simple ambition: to help people get more out of their credit. With CheQ UPI, we’re taking that ambition into something Indians do multiple times everyday — payments. CheQ UPI brings together the scale and simplicity of UPI with CheQ’s deep understanding of credit‑card users. We want CheQ to become the natural home for every RuPay credit card, seamless to pay with, rewarding to use, and fully integrated with how you manage your credit.”

The launch is presented as a cornerstone of CheQ’s broader strategy to build India’s most comprehensive credit ecosystem, linking everyday payments, RuPay credit‑card usage, credit‑management tools and reward mechanisms into a single, connected experience.
