Company Response
Laurie Schalow, Chipotle’s chief corporate affairs and food safety officer, said the company proactively removed the jalapeños from all locations that received the product and replaced them with peppers sourced from different growers upon learning of the potential outbreak. The company is cooperating with Minnesota health officials.
