Ranking Achievement
Chitkara University has been recognised in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2027, securing the 3rd position in India for Research Quality. In addition, the university attained the 17th rank overall within India and was placed in the global 701–800 band, joining 2,297 universities from 118 countries and territories featured in this edition.
Ranking Methodology
THE evaluates research‑intensive institutions across five pillars – Teaching, Research Environment, Research Quality, International Outlook and Industry. The Research Quality pillar, which propelled Chitkara to the 3rd spot nationally, measures citation impact, research strength, research excellence and research influence.
