Cambridge will create Rokos School of Government, funded by a £190 million donation from Chris Rokos, the largest ever to a UK university.
The pledge includes £130 million upfront and up to £60 million later, matched by Cambridge, which also contributes land in its West Innovation District.
The school opens Autumn 2026, offering PhD and Masters programmes, recruiting faculty in science, economics, engineering, statistics, overseen by a joint Cambridge‑Rokos trust.
Rokos says the school will enhance UK soft power by training future leaders in governance, technology and policy.
