Event Overview
The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) – Technology & Construction Management (TCM) Division will host the 25th edition of Cost Congress on 26 and 27 October 2026 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Pune, Maharashtra. The conference is themed “India’s Decade: Building Global Competitiveness in an Era of Disruption”.
Programme Highlights
The two‑day programme will comprise thematic sessions covering innovation as a strategic competitive advantage, indigenisation and localisation of value chains, business resilience, the shift from compliance‑led decarbonisation to genuine competitive advantage, export competitiveness, and strategies to strengthen India’s global footprint. The second day will focus on technology and artificial intelligence in manufacturing productivity, human‑capital excellence in an AI‑driven era, and strategic inflection points such as the transition from internal combustion engines to electric vehicles and from fossil fuels to clean energy.
Speakers
The inaugural session on innovation will be moderated by Mr. Girish Wagh, Managing Director & CEO of Tata Motors Ltd. Other speakers include Mr. Manoj Kolhatkar, Chairman – Cost Congress 2026 and MD & CEO of TATA AutoComp Systems Ltd; Mr. Rajendran Arunachalam, Group CFO of Thermax Ltd; Mr. B. Thiagarajan, MD of Blue Star Ltd; Mr. Guruprasad Mudlapur, President of Bosch Group in India & MD; Mr. K.S. New Framework Launch
The conference will also mark the unveiling of TCM 3.0, a repositioned and rebranded framework that incorporates an Innovation Index, a Technology Interface, and a new Business Strategy Architecture designed for the emerging global context.
