CloudThat Wins Microsoft FY26 Superstars Award – India Winner
CloudThat, a Bengaluru‑headquartered cloud and AI training and consulting firm, has been announced as the India winner of Microsoft’s FY26 Superstars Award Campaign. This marks the company’s fourth Superstars title and its eighth overall Microsoft recognition since the first award in 2017, underscoring a decade‑long partnership with the technology giant.
During the FY26 period, CloudThat delivered training to 3.8 lakh learners. The programme composition included 2 lakh learners who completed Microsoft 365 Copilot skilling modules and an additional 85,000 learners who were trained in Azure Data & AI. The firm highlighted sustained learner acquisition, strong AI skilling outcomes, and consistent growth in the number of Microsoft Certified Professionals throughout the year.
Since its inception in 2012, CloudThat has trained more than 11 lakh professionals worldwide, facilitating over 2,000 certifications across 30+ countries. Its trainer ecosystem is a key differentiator: 20 Microsoft Trainers featured in Microsoft’s 2025 Top 100 Global MCT list, while 13 trainers received recognition under the 2026 MCT Quality Awards.
Beyond corporate skilling, CloudThat has expanded into the public sector. Under the AI Pragya initiative—launched by the Centre for e‑Governance, Government of Uttar Pradesh, in collaboration with Microsoft—the company trained more than 1,560 government officials across Copilot, Azure, Responsible AI, and cybersecurity modules. A comparable programme for the Government of the Maldives resulted in a 20% increase in monthly active usage of Microsoft tools following the training.
In higher education, CloudThat partners with institutions such as IIT (BHU) Varanasi, Shree Vaishnav Vidyapeeth University, Acharya, SKITM Indore, and GD Goenka University. These collaborations embed Microsoft technologies and certifications into curricula, offering students pathways through seven Microsoft certification tracks covering Azure, AI, Data Science, and Business Applications. The firm aims to extend this model to 50 institutions within the next twelve months.
