Coal India Limited's Board approved a 100% corporate guarantee of up to ₹3,160 Crores for subsidiary CRAUL's debt obligations.
The guarantee funds CAPEX for CRAUL's 875 MW Solar PV Plant, a JV with Rajasthan's RRVUNL (CIL 74%, RRVUNL 26%).
CIL faces a contingent liability of up to ₹3,160 Crores in the event of default by CRAUL on its debt.
