Coatue Launches Next Frontier AI Data Center Venture

Coatue Management created a new firm, Next Frontier, to acquire land for AI data‑center development projects.
Next Frontier may invest tens of billions of dollars, starting with a land purchase in Indiana for a data‑center campus.
The venture will serve AI customers such as Anthropic, while Coatue already holds large stakes in Anthropic and OpenAI.
Coatue’s portfolio also includes data‑center infrastructure suppliers GE Vernova and Vistra, strengthening its ecosystem involvement.
