Coca-Cola India Enhances Mysuru Dasara 2026 Festive Experience
On 23 October 2026, Coca‑Cola India, together with its bottling partner Hindustan Coca‑Cola Beverages (HCCB), concluded a series of on‑ground activations, consumer engagements and expanded retail touchpoints across Mysuru as part of the city’s Dasara 2026 celebrations. The company maintained a visible presence at Aahara Mela, Mysuru’s largest food festival, where more than 150 food stalls offered visitors a variety of culinary choices and where Sprite and Coca‑Cola were prominently displayed. The festival also marked the first on‑ground appearance of the new “Sprite X Spicy” offering, inviting attendees to pair the beverage with spicy food.
Beyond the mela, Coca‑Cola India deployed branded horse‑carts and highway activations featuring Sprite and Rimzim wall‑paintings and chilling centres at key travel routes and tourist spots, including Chamundi Hills, Brindavan Gardens, the Mysuru Dasara Flower Show at Kuppanna Park and Srirangapatna. Sampling activities showcased Rimzim Zeera and Minute Maid tetra‑packs, while promotional pushes for Sprite Lemon Mint were conducted at the same locations.
Desmond Nikhil Dsouza, Vice President – Integrated Operations (HCCB) & Commercial, Coca‑Cola India & Southwest Asia, stated that festivals bring communities together and that the company’s diverse beverage portfolio, on‑ground presence and extensive bottling and distribution network enable it to be part of these celebrations while supporting local retailers and distribution channels. Vinay Nair, Chief Commercial Officer, Hindustan Coca‑Cola Beverages (HCCB), added that delivering a consistent consumer experience during a large‑scale event such as Mysuru Dasara requires strong execution across the distribution network and close engagement with distributors and retail partners to ensure product availability.
The release also outlined Coca‑Cola’s broader Indian portfolio, which includes carbonated drinks (Coca‑Cola, Coca‑Cola Zero Sugar, Diet Coke, Thums Up, Thums Up XForce, Charged, Fanta, Limca, Sprite, Sprite Zero, Kinley Soda, Rimzim, Maaza, Minute Maid, Honest Tea), hydration beverages (Limca GlucoCharge, Smartwater, Kinley, Kinley Copper, Dasani, Bonaqua), premium offerings (Schweppes, Smartwater) and Costa Coffee. The company highlighted its ongoing portfolio transformation, such as sugar‑reduction initiatives and new product introductions, and noted a network of over six million retail outlets that refreshes millions of Indian consumers. Globally, The Coca‑Cola Company and its bottling partners employ more than 700,000 people, contributing economic opportunity to local communities worldwide.
