Cochin Shipyard Limited has executed a Joint Venture Agreement with Drydocks World Dubai – FZCO (DDW), a DP World Company, on September 11, 2026. This execution follows the company's previous intimation dated September 09, 2026, regarding the proposed joint venture.
The agreement was signed by Captain Rado Antolovic, PhD, CEO of Drydocks World Dubai – FZCO, and Shri Jose V J, Chairman and Managing Director and Director (Finance) of Cochin Shipyard Limited. The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit 2026 in New Delhi.
The signing was witnessed by Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, Hon'ble Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways of India, and H.E. Omran Sharaf Alhashimi, UAE Assistant Foreign Minister for Advanced Science and Technology.
