India Health Forward 2047 Summit and CPR Two‑Year Hospital Initiative

On Saturday, September 12, 2026, Compassionate Patient Response, Inc. (CPR) hosted the India Health Forward 2047 summit at Le Meridien, Hyderabad, bringing together more than 100 leaders from healthcare, government, technology, academia, philanthropy and investment. The event aimed to chart a path toward scalable, equitable and pandemic‑resilient healthcare systems ahead of India’s centenary in 2047.

The summit opened with welcome remarks from CPR Co‑Founder Krishna Kottapalli, followed by a lamp‑lighting ceremony conducted by spiritual teacher and author Sri M of The Satsang Foundation, who also addressed the audience. The opening keynote was delivered by Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan, a physician, former IAS officer and founder‑president of the Foundation for Democratic Reforms and Loksatta Party. The closing keynote featured Dr. P.V. Ramesh, a former national and international civil servant and former Principal Health Secretary of Andhra Pradesh/Telangana.

Four thematic panels were convened:

1. Designing Scalable Care Infrastructure for Tier‑2 & Tier‑3 India;

2. Digital Health Implementation – What Works, What Fails, What Scales;

3. Funding the Future of Healthcare – CSR, Public‑Private Partnerships & Ecosystem Collaboration;

4. Integrating the Ecosystem for Long‑Term Clinical Outcomes.

Two‑Year ₹10 Crore Critical‑Care Expansion

CPR announced a two‑year initiative to strengthen critical‑care infrastructure across four partner hospitals:

  • Maa Sharda Hospital, Vikarabad, Telangana;
  • St. Ann's Hospital, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh;
  • Swaasthya Hospital, Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh;
  • Cantonment Hospital, Pune, Maharashtra.

The program will upgrade operating theatres and diagnostic equipment, expand overall bed capacity, and establish dedicated Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) facilities. Partnerships are being forged with Rangaraya Hospital and Bajaj Finserv to support these upgrades. CPR has set a fundraising target of ₹10 crore for the two‑year period.

Dr. Satya Garimella, CPR Co‑Founder and cardiologist/electrophysiologist at Baptist Health Floyd, Louisville, USA, stated that CPR represents “a journey of social consciousness, empathy, and compassion” and emphasized that the organization has touched more than 10,000 lives since its inception. Krishna Kottapalli added that “the future of healthcare cannot be a conversation restricted to one segment; it requires partnership and collaboration across fields.”
