Container Corporation of India Ltd.
Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR) has disclosed through a regulatory filing to BSE and NSE that it has entered into a long-term agreement with GAIL (India) Limited. This disclosure is made under SEBI Listing Obligation & Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015.
The agreement involves establishing a state-of-the-art Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) dispensing station at CONCOR's Inland Container Depot (ICD) in Khodiyar, Ahmedabad. The agreement has a term of 15 years.
Under this strategic partnership:
- GAIL (India) Limited will hold exclusive operational control of the LNG dispensing station.
- GAIL will invest in setting up the retail LNG outlet infrastructure.
- CONCOR will provide a dedicated land parcel of approximately 3,000 square meters within its Ahmedabad terminal.
- CONCOR will also provide essential utility connectivity to the facility.
To ensure commercial viability of this green corridor project, CONCOR has committed to deploying a dedicated fleet of 15 LNG-powered commercial vehicles starting in the first contract year (FY2027).
The multi-modal facility will operate round-the-clock and will provide high-performance, eco-friendly fueling services to both CONCOR's logistics fleet and open-market commercial vehicles.
The agreement was signed on 8th July 2026 at GAIL office in New Delhi by:

- Shri Hitendra Kumar Garg, ED (Marketing) of GAIL
The signing ceremony was attended by Shri Swayambhu Arya, ED (Projects & Services) of CONCOR and other senior officials from both GAIL and CONCOR.
