Conifex Timber will curtail operations at its Mackenzie sawmill for about seven weeks starting May 19, 2026, aiming to restart in July.
The pause, affecting roughly 25 million board feet, is due to low log inventory, fiber availability and seasonal logging breakup conditions.
Conifex reported a Q4 2025 net loss of CAD 0.28 per share on CAD 26.1 million revenue, citing higher tariffs and weak commodity prices.
The firm will release Q1 2026 results on May 15, 2026 before market open and hold a 9 AM PT conference call.
