Cool Effect partners with Mitti Labs to offer rice‑methane reduction carbon credits, expanding its superpollutant portfolio beyond ODS and landfill gas.
Between 2024‑2025 Cool Effect purchased 3.37 million tonnes of superpollutant credits, directing over $36 million to project partners.
Mitti Labs’ AWD technique can cut water use up to 40% and methane emissions up to 50%, benefiting 70,000+ farmers.
The project aims to generate 25 billion liters of water savings and scale to 2 million credits annually by 2028.
