Dhaksha Unmanned Systems Private Limited, a subsidiary of Coromandel International Limited, inaugurated its new manufacturing facility at Aymicheri region in Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu. The facility was inaugurated by Mr. Arun Alagappan, Executive Chairman of Coromandel International Limited.
The new facility will:
- Strengthen execution across agriculture, defence and enterprise segments
- Advance indigenisation of critical technologies
- Support development and execution of larger and complex programmes across key UAV verticals
- Enable greater collaboration across the drone value chain
- Accelerate development of an integrated drone manufacturing ecosystem under one roof
Product Launch Details
Dhaksha announced the launch of two new agricultural drone models:
- DH Agrigator E10 Prime: Developed with indigenous components, aligns with the Namo Drone Didi programme
- DH Agrigator E10 Eco: Affordable solution designed to expand access to drone-based farming services for small and marginal farmers and rural entrepreneurs
Defense Portfolio Expansion
The facility will support Dhaksha's growing defence portfolio including surveillance and logistics applications. A dedicated production line for defence applications will:
- Strengthen execution capabilities
- Support indigenisation efforts for greater control over critical technologies
- Expand sourcing and service ecosystem including network of service centers
