Cessation of Current Company Secretary

Shri P. Shankar, Company Secretary & Compliance Officer (Membership No: A7624) and a Key Managerial Personnel of CPCL, has superannuated from the services of the Company effective June 30, 2026, at the close of business hours.

Appointment of New Company Secretary

The Board of CPCL at its meeting held on June 26, 2026, approved the appointment of Shri Lalit Kumar Mohanty (Membership No.: F6655) as Company Secretary & Compliance Officer with effect from July 01, 2026. The board meeting commenced at 10:00 AM and concluded at 11:40 AM.

Profile of New Appointee

Shri Lalit Kumar Mohanty is a Science graduate and a qualified Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He holds a Master's degree in Law and has been serving as the Deputy Company Secretary of the Company since 2020. He brings over 25 years of experience in secretarial, legal, and taxation functions across various industries including telecom, refractories, steel, and oil sectors.

Prior to joining CPCL, he held the position of Company Secretary at Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited, a Central Public Sector Undertaking. He has also been associated with Tata Refractories Limited, RPG Group of Companies, and Ortel Communications Limited.
