CRC Group Announces “Let's Bring Back THE JOY OF READING” CSR Initiative
On August 6, 2026, CRC Group, headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, unveiled a global corporate‑social‑responsibility programme titled “Let's Bring Back THE JOY OF READING.” The initiative is designed to inspire individuals of all ages to rediscover books, fostering a lifelong habit of reading and strengthening communities through knowledge and curiosity.
The launch ceremony was attended by acclaimed actress, author, entrepreneur and social advocate Ms Gul Panag, together with educators, authors, publishing professionals and thought leaders who collectively underscored the importance of reading in shaping informed, creative and empathetic citizens.
Mr Kunal Bhalla, Founder & CEO of CRC Group, stated that meaningful development extends beyond building physical infrastructure and that the programme aims to encourage people to reconnect with books, nurture curiosity and embrace learning as a lifelong journey. He expressed hope that the effort will evolve into a movement inspiring generations to explore new ideas and perspectives.
Mr Salil Kumar, Director of Business Management & Marketing at CRC Group, highlighted that deep reading can spark imagination, broaden perspectives and build stronger communities. He articulated the vision of creating an ecosystem where books continue to inspire conversation, creativity and lifelong learning, bridging raw intelligence with practical action through self‑reflection and open‑mindedness.
Ms Gul Panag remarked that books expand thinking, deepen understanding and connect generations, emphasizing the urgency of rediscovering reading in today’s fast‑paced world.
As a long‑term effort, the programme will convene diverse stakeholders to promote a culture where books remain essential sources of learning and personal growth. Phase‑one workshops are planned across major Indian cities—New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Indore and Hyderabad—and international locations including Dubai, Singapore, London, New York, Italy and Moscow, with support from renowned authors, publishers, celebrities and reputed educational institutions.
