Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd announced the launch of the INTELLISENSE SmartPro, a wireless water level controller that integrates control‑panel functionality to simplify household water management. The solution replaces conventional systems that require extensive wiring between overhead tanks and ground‑level pumps, especially in multi‑storey buildings, by providing a single, integrated device.
The SmartPro employs LoRa technology to enable wireless communication between the Main Water Level Controller (MWC) and the Overhead Tank Controller (OHT) across up to seven floors, removing the need for inter‑floor wiring and reducing installation costs. It automatically starts the pump when the tank is empty and shuts it off when full, preventing overflow, and features a four‑level LED indicator on the main controller to display tank status.
Consumers can control and monitor the system remotely through the Crompton Senze App, available on iOS and Android. The app allows up to ten programmable schedules, real‑time fault alerts, and status monitoring from a smartphone. Protection features safeguard the pump against voltage fluctuations, overload conditions, and dry‑run scenarios. The unit is weatherproof with an IP65 rating, making it suitable for varied environmental conditions.
Designed for single‑phase submersible pumps up to 2 HP, the SmartPro is compatible with oil‑filled, water‑filled, and open‑well pumps. It ships with a twelve‑month warranty and free installation. Additionally, customers who purchase an eligible Crompton submersible pump together with the SmartPro on a single invoice receive an extra six‑month warranty, subject to terms and conditions.
The product is available across retail stores in India and on e‑commerce platforms.
