CrowdStrike Expands AI Security Tools with Google Cloud
CrowdStrike announced on 1 September 2026 that it is adding new artificial‑intelligence security capabilities to its Falcon platform through an integration with Google Cloud’s enterprise AI ecosystem. The company is extending Falcon Guardian via Google’s Agent Gateway to deliver AI‑runtime protection for enterprise AI applications hosted on Google Cloud, targeting risks such as prompt‑injection attacks, sensitive‑data leakage and malicious AI activity while providing continuous visibility across AI agents and applications.
In addition, CrowdStrike is linking the Falcon platform to Google Gemini Enterprise through three new components – Falcon MCP, Charlotte AI and Falcon Shield. Falcon MCP injects CrowdStrike threat intelligence into Gemini‑enabled workflows, Charlotte AI extends AI‑native security‑operations capabilities, and Falcon Shield, built on Google Cloud’s Agent Registry, enables organisations to discover and govern AI agents operating in SaaS environments. The integration also includes building the Falcon platform on regional Google Cloud infrastructure to allow customers to consolidate on CrowdStrike while meeting hyperscaler preferences and operational requirements.
“Enterprise AI needs an enterprise cybersecurity platform,” said Daniel Bernard, chief business officer of CrowdStrike. “Organizations shouldn’t have to choose between accelerating AI adoption and reducing risk. Through our collaboration with Google Cloud, we’re extending the Falcon platform across the enterprise AI stack, helping customers run AI securely at scale in the location of their choice.” Brian Goldstein, vice‑president of Strategic AI and ISV at Google Cloud, added that integrating CrowdStrike’s AI security capabilities with Gemini Enterprise strengthens native protections and helps customers scale enterprise AI on Google Cloud.
The announced capabilities – Falcon Guardian through Agent Gateway, Falcon MCP for Gemini Enterprise, Charlotte AI for Gemini Enterprise, and Falcon Shield for Agent Registry – collectively aim to provide AI‑runtime protection, threat‑intelligence‑enhanced workflows, AI‑native security‑operations, and governance of AI agents across SaaS workloads.
