The world’s largest agarbathi manufacturer, Cycle Pure Agarbathi, part of NR Group, confirmed its sponsorship of the Indian Open of Surfing 2026 (7th edition) for the third consecutive year.
The championship was conducted from 29‑31 May 2026 at Blue Bay Eco Beach, Tannirbhavi, Mangalore, featuring competitive surfers from across India.
Managing Director Arjun Ranga stated the partnership reflects the company’s belief in sports’ ability to unite communities and inspire younger generations.
The inauguration and closing ceremonies were attended by senior IAS officials, tourism and youth department officers, and heads of surfing federations, indicating governmental and institutional support.
The sponsorship aligns with NR Group’s broader strategy to support diverse sports such as golf, cricket, kabaddi, tennis, and athletics, contributing to the development of India’s sports ecosystem.
