Cyient Semiconductor Acquires Majority Stake in Kinetic Technologies

Cyient Semiconductors completed an $85 million majority-stake investment in power semiconductor solutions provider Kinetic Technologies.
The investment aims to create a scaled semiconductor platform targeting a $44 billion global market opportunity in custom silicon and ASSPs.
Kinetic Technologies brings over 100 silicon-proven IPs and 250+ custom/ASSP products in power management, protection, display power, and interface solutions.
The combined entity will leverage Cyient's engineering expertise and Kinetic's product portfolio to enhance global customer support and R&D capabilities.
