On October 8, 2026, D. E. Shaw India Private Limited, a subsidiary of the global D. E. Shaw Group, commemorated three decades of operations in India and announced the development of a new headquarters in Hyderabad. The celebration took place at the firm’s Jubilee Hills office and was attended by Mr. D. Sridhar Babu, Minister for Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, Industries & Commerce, Government of Telangana, along with senior D. E. Shaw executives.

The new facility will be located at Grava Business Park in Neopolis, Hyderabad and is described as a state‑of‑the‑art workspace covering more than 600,000 square feet. Construction is scheduled to be completed with an opening target in 2027, and the space is intended to support D. E. Shaw India’s collaborative culture, enabling cross‑team interaction and advanced problem‑solving.

Historical context was provided: D. E. Shaw India opened its first Hyderabad office in 1996, subsequently expanding to Bengaluru and Gurugram in 2023. Today, teams across these three locations work with global colleagues to build technology, conduct research, and deliver operational capabilities for the broader D. E. Shaw Group.
