DACE Athletic Club, described as a first‑of‑its‑kind private multi‑sport destination, officially opened in RK Puram, New Delhi. The facility occupies nearly one acre within the DTEA campus and integrates emerging sports, community‑driven fitness, and experience‑led wellness under one roof.
Facility Details
The club provides dedicated infrastructure for padel, pickleball, football, yoga, table tennis and other recreational formats, positioning itself at the intersection of sport, lifestyle and social engagement. It aims to address Delhi’s previous lack of integrated spaces that combine multiple formats in a premium yet community‑oriented environment.
Access Model
A unique access model offers free use of the infrastructure to thousands of school students during the day (8:00 AM – 2:30 PM). Private members may use the venue during early mornings (5:00 AM – 8:00 AM) and evenings (2:30 PM – 1:00 AM). All bookings are processed exclusively through the Huddle platform.
Pricing Structure
Off‑peak padel court rates are INR 2,200 per hour, rising to INR 2,400 during peak hours. Pickleball courts cost INR 1,100 per hour off‑peak and INR 1,300 during peak periods. Football box formats are priced as follows: 7 vs 7 – INR 2,400 off‑peak, INR 2,700 peak; 8 vs 8 – INR 2,800 off‑peak, INR 3,100 peak; 9 vs 9 – INR 3,200 off‑peak, INR 3,500 peak; 10 vs 10 – INR 3,600 off‑peak, INR 4,000 peak.
Founder Commentary
The club was conceptualised and privately funded by entrepreneur Puranjay Katara, who serves as Founder and Director. Katara stated that \"across global cities, sports infrastructure is increasingly evolving into community infrastructure\" and that India is entering a phase where consumers seek spaces beyond conventional gyms, emphasizing social, recreational and cultural engagement.
