Dalmia Bharat Acquires 5.2 MnTPA Cement Capacity

Dalmia Bharat subsidiary DCBL executed a Business Transfer Agreement to acquire cement plants from Jaiprakash Associates Ltd for ₹2,850 Cr enterprise value.
The acquisition adds 5.2 MnTPA cement capacity and 3.3 MnTPA clinker capacity across four plants in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
Transaction expected to close within two weeks, increasing Dalmia Bharat's total cement capacity to 54.7 MnTPA.
Funding will be through a mix of debt and internal accruals to support pan-India expansion strategy.
